More Work In Progress

...looks like i jinxed myself. No sooner did i tell Oma how good things are going at work did things change dramatically. The last three days have been insane. I'm so wiped out from work that when i get home from work i eat dinner, sit on the couch and in minutes i'm out cold. Snoring to boot. Needless to say I didn't get too far on the project until tonight. Colette helped me hold the cardboard to the body so i could trace outlines and made some cuts. A few more cuts, a test fit and a few more cuts and "voila" we have our outer skin fabed. It looks like this...



...The small long tube will be an arm. The wide short tube will be the neck. I still have to cut the holes on the bottom for the legs. Once that is done it'll be ready for paint. After that it'll be time to fabricate the head. The head will have to be painted. Good thing i still have tomorrow and the rest of the weekend. Ok thats it for tonight.
